Details
Six steel panels were buried within the earth for fourteen months and left to interact with the complex ecosystem beneath our feet. Moisture, minerals, roots, fungi, bacteria and countless soil-dwelling organisms gradually transformed the metal, leaving behind a unique record of their activity. The resulting surfaces reveal the hidden processes of a living landscape and the continual exchange between soil, life and material over time.
